Meet Our Innovators

Closing in on a “Triple Play”

After more than 3 years construction effort, the Cleveland Clinic is closing in on the completion of an amazing “triple play”; delivery of the Miller Family Pavilion, the GlickmanTower, and the 89th Street Garage and ServiceCenter.

A triple play is memorable.  It takes tremendous teamwork to make one.  The extent of the teamwork behind our triple play “will be one for the record books”.

The tireless efforts of the construction team (ours and our contractors), the hours of input and review from the clinical staff, the patience of our patients and employees, countless coordination efforts with our local community and government partners – all examples of teamwork… and that was just to design and build the structures!

The teamwork to activate the facilities is another equally memorable story – one that is unfolding as final opening draws near.   Familiarizing ourselves with new space, understanding new technology that will support our patients - getting the game plan together – is all part of a pre game warm up that reflects the immense pride and excitement of every member of the Clinic team – from surgeon to red coat to parking attendant.

A triple play makes a difference.   This one completely transforms care and the impressions our patients and guests will have the minute they turn south off Chester onto Cleveland Clinic Boulevard.

Patients will be guided to a place to heal through a tree lined park.   Services will be provided through a state of the art service center.   Cardiovascular care will be provided in more modern, appropriately aligned and configured spaces.   Urological care will be provided in more generous space and equally well aligned and configured… and our caregivers will have their parking concerns answered.

We have created a memorable triple play that will make a difference.

It’s an honor to play on such a great team.
